349th Bomb Sqaudron's Squawkin Hawk being attacked by FW-190 fighters September 6, 1943 over France. This B-17F-85-BO went on to be the first aircraft of the 100th Bomb Group to complete 50 missions. In mid May 1944 she was sent back to the United States to help in the war bond tour. Signed by every member of the group who was there at the time. She ended her service life being transfered to the scrapers in December 1945
